Biography

Mabelle received a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore. She began her doctoral study at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute in 2012.

A computational model of the placental chorionic villous

Mabelle's research involves developing a computational model of the human placental chorionic villous. She hopes that her research can provide a better understanding of how abnormalities occurring during the development of placenta adversely affect pregnancy.
