Associate Professor Robert Roy Raine

BSc(Hons), PhD

Biography

  • Associate Professor

My primary research interest is in combustion and exhaust emissions aspects of internal combustion engines.

In addition to periods of sabbatical leave I have had research experience throughout my career. This has been in the field of internal combustion engines with reference to operation on natural gas, exhaust emissions, combustion processes and computer modelling.

More recently I have undertaken research on the subject of vehicle emissions and fuel consumption. Current and future active interests are in alternative fuels for internal combustion engines including biodiesel, alcohols and hydrogen supplementation.
