Mr Yahya Zakariya Yahya

Biography
Yahya graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Instrumentation, in 2010, from the Technical College of Mosul at Foundation of Technical Education (now Northern Technical University), Mosul, Iraq. He then worked as a lab technician and trainer at the same faculty for more than two years.
In 2014, he was awarded an MSc degree in Medical Devices (with distinction) from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Then, he worked as a lecturer for 3 years at the Engineering Technical College of Mosul/ Northern Technical University, Erbil, Iraq.
Yahya joined Auckland Bioengineering Institute, in April 2018, as a PhD student after being awarded a scholarship funded through Medical Technologies Centre of Research Excellence (MedTech CoRE).
