I got a Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo in 2011 and joined RIKEN Advanced Science Institute in 2011 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. I was promoted to a Research Scientist at RIKEN Center for Advanced Photonics in 2016. I became a Senior Researcher of HiLASE Centre in 2017 and later joined the Department of Physics as a Research Fellow in 2019.

Research | Current

I have expertise in solid-state laser development. I am currently involved in a project of generating GHz-class frequency combs for application in science and industry.
