Dr Velram Balaji Mohan

BTech, ME (Hons), PhD

Biography

Velram received a BTech in Polymer Technology from Anna University, India and an ME (Hons) in Materials and Process Engineering from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He then obtained a PhD from the Centre for Advanced Composite Materials (CACM) at the University of Auckland on the development of functional graphene/polymer nanocomposites. Currently, he is appointed as a Research Fellow jointly by CACM and PCoE. He is also the course convenor for the PG certificate in plastics programme. His research interests are processing and characterisation of polymer materials and their composites. He is primarily involved in graphene research themes in CACM and plastics processing in PCoE.
