My research investigates the role of ocular derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) in retinal health and diseases. By identifying molecular changes in cargo content, disease progression can be monitored and preventative treatment can be given in a timely manner. I am also interested in harnessing the therapeutic potential of EVs as a drug delivery vehicle.
