Hester has been with Libraries and Learning Services in various roles since 1996. She is currently the Associate University Librarian - Academic & Research Support Services. In her previous role as Assistant University Librarian - Information Common & Learning Services she was responsible for the development of the Kate Edger Information Commons, Grafton IC and the Epsom IC facilities and the associated learning and technology support services.
Hester is the Associate University Librarian - Academic and Research Support Services. She contributes to the strategic development of Libraries and Learning Services through planning, organisational development and policy formulation. She is responsible for the provision and ongoing improvement of collections and services to support the teaching, learning and research activities of all Faculties. She provides leadership to teams of librarians, learning advisers and language advisers working in the areas of research support, collection management, academic and information literacy development, academic English development and learning design.
