Dr Jami Shepherd
Dr. Jami Shepherd (Johnson) completed her PhD at the University of Auckland in 2017. She then took a position as a postdoc at the Laboratoire d'imagerie biomédicale at Sorbonne Université in Paris, France before returning home to New Zealand as a research fellow.
Research | Current
Jami is interested in utilising light and sound waves to advance medical technology through imaging. She studies and develops photoacoustic, ultrasonic, and laser-ultrasonic imaging techniques, from basic hardware development to image reconstruction and analysis.
