By 31 May, please review and update your Discovery Profiles using the Te Waka Huia Rangahau | Research Outputs system.
Use the Profile Review Checklist as a guide of the activities to complete as you review and enhance your profile.
On 7 June, the University Directory will be fully decommissioned and will no longer be accessible or visible inside or outside of the University, Discovery Profiles will replace the externally facing elements of University Directory.

Research | Current

The current research project objective is to create a platfom for large-scale statistical computing, utilising the versatility and power of R.
Such a platform will allow statisticians to easily define and run complex distributed algorithms from within the R environment, rather than having to rely on external tools that don't have statistical computation as a goal.
This platform will be demonstrated through the implementation of complex iterative models in R, and applying these models to real-world tasks on large-scale problems.
