Miss Julia Jakobsson
I started my studies in Sweden where I earned a BSc in Physical Geography and Ecosystems Science from Lund University. There I was focusing on Remote Sensing and GIS applications. Which I used working for forestry and mining companies in SE Asia.
After returning to the university and working as a laboratory technician in Lund I moved to Canada and completed a research based MSc in Biology from Université du Québec à Montréal. Focusing on aquatic carbon biogeochemistry and lake morphology.
Research | Current
My current research is on biogeochemistry from hilltop to ocean. Where we will explore the pathways of Nitrogen and Carbon from land to atmosphere and waterways.
