Dr Hua Jonathan Ye

PhD in Information Systems

Biography

Dr Ye is a senior lecturer at the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, University of Auckland Business School. He got his Phd in Information Systems from National University of Singapore. 

His research has been published in top journals e.g., MIS Quarterly, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information & Management, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Computers in Human Behavior, and etc. and premium conferences (ICIS, ECIS, PACIS, ACIS, AoM, and HICSS). He won the Research Excellence Award in August 2017 from University of Auckland Business School. Also, he won the Best Conference Track Paper award (with collaborators) at the International Conference on Information Systems in 2016, the most premium conference in the Information Systems (IS) field. His research has also been mentioned and reported in LSE Business Review (Blog).

He has been serving as the Area Editor for Electronic Commerce Research and Applications Journal and Journal of Management Science (a top Chinese journal) and ad hoc reviewers for a series of top journals in IS field, e.g., MIS Quarterly, ISR, JAIS, JSIS, I&M, and etc.
