I am investigating the management of domestic cats and their impacts on urban biota. My research includes using collar-mounted cameras to get a cat’s eye view of the world and surveys of cat owners to determine their attitudes and practices. The management of cats is a controversial topic and my research aims to inform the management debate by investigating the impact domestic cats have on both desirable and undesirable species and by testing for any variation in predation during the day versus night.
