Dr Larry Jensen
I was born and raised in the United States, receiving degrees from Brown University and the University of Minnesota in botanical science and completed a NIH postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oregon. I came to Auckland in 1972 as a Senior Lecturer in Botany and became involved in research into the cytoskeleton. I also developed three dimensional, computer-generated animations as a valuable learning platform for stage 1 students. I retired in 1999 and have since been developing a website on native plants for courses in The School of Biological Sciences, secondary schools and for public use.
