Biography

I studied undergraduate Geography at Massey, completed a PhD at the University of Wollongong and undertook postdocs at the University of Bristol and NIWA. I joined the School of Environment in 2008. I currently co-lead two main research projects: the Coastal programme of the Resilience National Science Challenge and a Marsden project on coastal marine terraces. 

Research | Current

My research focuses on processes of coastal change, including the effects of sea level rise, using a wide range of methods including field measurements and numerical modelling.
