Mubashir Hussain is an Automation Engineer and an Engineering Postgraduate, offering a strong academic background with relevant experience from Electronics and Automation Engineering sector. In the year 2015, he completed his Bachelors of Engineering (BEng Hons) from the University of Kashmir with a First Class Distinction, in the field of Electronics and Communications. Following a brief internship in Embedded Systems and Robotics, he joined the University of Southampton for higher studies - from where he completed his Masters of Science (MSc), in Energy and Sustainability with Electrical Power Engineering, with Distinction, in the year 2016. After working as an Automation Engineer for around a year in India, his aspiration for knowledge and passion for Electrical Engineering motivated him to study further, and thereby pursue research in the field. Mubashir is a Doctoral Candidate in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), at the University of Auckland. His main research interest(s) include Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), Smart Grid Technology, Control System Design and Analysis.
