Biography

Romana graduated with a BSc in Zoology from the University of Innsbruck in 2013. She continued her master studies at the University of Vienna in Animal Behaviour, Neurobiology and Cognition with her main focus on the cognition of Goffin cockatoos. She started her PhD at the University of Auckland in 2017 with her research focus on the cognition and the evolution of intelligence of New Caledonian crows.
