Dr Udayangi Perera Muthupoltotage

Research | Current

My current research interests focus on the design and development of student-centred technology-enhanced learning environments. Within this area, my specific interests are in using data science, machine learning, image and signal processing, augmented and virtual reality and artificial intelligence as well as enhanced understanding of user cognition, motivation and behaviour in adoption, and adaption of technology for learning.

Teaching | Current

Over the years I have taught many subjects including algorithms and data structures, intelligent systems, programming fundamentals and programming languages, mobile application development, front and back end web development, human-computer interaction and database design and development. My current teaching focusses on data and information management, visualisation and utilisation.
